Our Dentists

Dr. Derek Segall

Dr. Derek Segall was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and graduated with a degree in dentistry from the University of the Witwatersrand. Following his graduation, he served in the South African Defense Force for one year before embarking on his career in private practice. After seven years in private practice in South Africa, Dr. Segall decided to immigrate to Canada in 1998. Shortly after his arrival in Toronto, he joined the dental practices of Uptowne and Amberwood Dental Centres. In addition to maintaining a busy practice Derek enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, is a keen gardener, and an aviation enthusiast. He also tries to keep in shape by working out and biking.
Dr. Hayley Greenspoon

Born in Toronto, Ontario, Dr. Hayley Greenspoon attended the University of Western Ontario, where she pursued an honours degree in Medical Sciences. After graduation, she embarked on her dental studies, still at the University of Western Ontario, by attending the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. After practicing dentistry in Oakville and Hamilton, she joined our practice here at Amberwood Dental Centre. When she is not helping patients at our family dental centre, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and son, as well as cooking and travelling.
